Brain of J.
Pearl Jam - Yield
Tabbed by MWC <brainofj@iname.com>
Solo by Evan Cowan <icowan@marin.k12.ca.us>

All guitars drop 6th string E to a D

(Stone and Mike both play this one tuned down, but I have a standard
tuning version as well, scroll down to see it...)

Got this from John Clarke <hwoarang99@hotmail.com>:

This was in an issue of guitar world March 1998.
McCready:
"Like the guitar tone on "Brain of J,"  I was looking for a crazy effect
that I finally got by combining two guitar sounds.  The really
menacing-sounding one involves a chorus and a wah wah pedal set halfway
down, and the other track is just a heavy, distorted guitar without any
effects on it."

Legend

^ = slight bend
/ = slide
p = pull off
h = hammer
